Deep Sea Fishing in World Class Sportfishing Waters! The US Virgin Islands!

No Passports required for US Citizens!
The Virgin Islands are perched at the edge of the six mile deep Puerto Rico Trench, an area known for having some of the hardiest game fish in the world. Two well known fishing areas off of St. Thomas USVI are the North Drop, about 20 miles north of St. Thomas; and the South Drop, 8 miles south of St. Thomas.  Migrating schools of small fish gather in these areas, and this attracts larger pelagics such as Billfish, Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin fish (Mahi-Mahi). "Working the drop" consists of trolling back and forth across the 50-100 fathom depth contour.
The trench is 800 kilometres (497 mi) long and has a maximum depth of 8,648 metres (28,373 ft)

Meet your Skipper! Welcome to the Virgin Islands!

Capt. Clarke Mixson
Capt. Clarke has enjoyed the past few years catching fish in the Gulf of Mexico with the owner of Island Breeze using the boat’s amazing deep-drop power reel. He is looking forward to using this technology in the Caribbean to entertain guests and feed them with the bounty the power reel retrieves from the deep ocean. Clarke loves preparing fresh sushi and grilling fish on Island Breeze’s outdoor BBQ. When he’s not catching fish, you’ll find Clarke leading scuba diving trips and exploring wrecks and reefs with guests or entertaining them with his many tales from his life on the water. Clarke holds a Padi Dive Master certification and a 100 Ton Master’s Captain’s license. Clarke lists his three boating priorities as Safety, Comfort and Having FUN!
So put yourself in this picture and get ready to yell "FISH ON"!!!
